Highway Supermarket – is a big store next to the Moshi – Arusha road. You can get there easily by taxi. There is a big range of different products.
Aleem’s Grocery – is a shop in Moshi town center. The shop itself is quite small but its position among supermarkets in Moshi is remarkable. It’s the leading shop selling western products in Moshi and that is why it is the favorite shop of all the foreigners living here. Shop is closed every day from 1pm until 2.30pm and also on Sundays.
Woodlands supermarket – is the nearest shop from Tanzania Volunteers house. It is about 1 kilometer from the house. In Woodlands you can find all common products from hygienic to food. Shop is open every day until 9pm.

Rasta Jahu, I Heritage – is a souvenir shop near to Kindoroko Hotel at the double road. Store has really large selection of high quality souvenirs. Because of good variety and high quality trade prices are slightly higher than on the streets, and bargaining is not possible. I Curio is a good place to buy jewelers, Tshirts, cards, scarves and shoes.
Vinyago – is an area Eastern side of Moshi town, and there you can find many souvenir cottages. In each cottage some craftsman is selling his own products. In the village of cottages you should haggle a lot. Because of strong competition you might get souvenirs really cheap. Here you can find TingaTinga paintings and wooden sculptures.
Memoria – on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays there is a secondhand clothes market. Here you can find cool clothes, bags and shoes for really cheap prices. Used clothes come from different places like USA, Europe and Asia. You should haggle a lot in Memoria market.
Kiboriloni – Wednesdays and Saturdays are good days to visit Kiboriloni market. There you can buy different kind of fabrics. From Kiboriloni "Street of fabrics" you can find Kangas, ready printed kitenges as well as hand dyed batik fabrics, all in reasonable prices. You can go to Kiboriloni easily by taxi. It is also worth to visit little bit further and there is Chagga market for the local people.
Unique Batik – is a clothes and fabric shop in the center of Moshi town. From the shop you can buy high quality batik fabrics made by the owner herself and also clothes made of these fabrics. This is a good shop to order tailor made clothes made out either from your own fabric or from some fabric from the shop. Design can be your own or from the shop. The clothes will be ready in few days and it costs about USD 10-60.
Chui Traders – is a big curio shop in the centre of Moshi town. They have very wide range of high quality products. From Chui Traders you can find good T shirts and they also have many different kind of kangas and kitenges (local printed fabrics). Chui Traders is also selling Shah Industries' products. The prices are slightly higher than on the streets and it is not possible to bargain. The shop is closed every day from 1 pm until 2.30 pm and Sundays.
Shah Industries– is a souvenir shop that manufactures different items out of cow skin, bone and horn and also wood. All the products are made there in a small "factory". You can have a guided tour to the factory any time. Half of the workers are handicapped, somehow disabled or albinos. Product range varies from jewelers, note books, photo albums and shoes to lamp shades, bags, briefcases, belts and furniture. Definitely worth of visiting.
