"Before coming to Tanzania I had very little idea what to expect – in the TVL house, at my placement, Bondeni, and just of Moshi in general. After a month living and working here I can say that every aspect exceeded my expectations. I found Bondeni to not only test my ability, in certain areas, as a nurse but also teach me some very valuable skills as a person. I immediately felt as a part of their nursing team as well of their family. Before coming here, I was warned about the unpleasant incidences that can happen, which unfortunately, I did experience firsthand. All I can say is that it has made me, in my opinion, a better person and if anything, has made me want to work and help people all over again."
