ARUSHA TOWN VISIT, SNAKE PARK, MAASAI MUSEUM AND CAMEL RIDING

Arusha is located 1400 meters above the sea level on the southern slopes of Mount Meru. The distance from Moshi is about 80 km to west.  Arusha is the capital of tourism in Tanzania and there are more than 300 000 inhabitants.

1 DAY TRIP
You will leave early in the morning and drive to Arusha with own car. First you will visit Meserani Snake Park which is located after Arusha town. There you can see a lot of different snakes from Africa and also crocodiles and turtles. You will get a chance to hold a snake around your neck or a baby crocodile in your hand. After the snake park you will visit Masai Museum. There you can explore masai culture, learn more about their traditional lifestyle and see different utensils which masais use.  Outside the museum you can ride with a camel and before driving back to Arusha you will visit a big curio shop.

Back in Arusha you will have lunch. After that you will go to masai market where you can buy different masai decorations and all kind of handicrafts from Tanzania. From the market you will drive back to Moshi.

2 DAYS TRIP
The program of the 2 days trip will be the same as above until lunch in Arusha town. After lunch you will have time to go around Arusha and do some shopping. You may want to visit Shoprite shopping mall, Italian ice cream bar or a chocolate shop. After the shopping you can go to your hotel to rest and refresh. In the evening you can choose a nice place for dinner and then explore the Arusha nightlife.

On the next morning (sleeping late is allowed…), after the breakfast in the hotel, you will go to masai market where you can buy different masai decorations and all kind of handicrafts from Tanzania. On the way back to Moshi you will have picnic lunch on Lake Duluti where you can see beautiful sceneries and different kind of birds.
