ST. JOSEPH HOSPITAL
St. Joseph Hospital is funded by and affiliated with the Catholic church. It was founded in 2001 and since then, the hospital has been expanding continuously. Even now, they are adding a new building to the hospital. There are all the most common wards in the hospital; female ward, male ward, pediatric ward, out-patient ward, operation theater, laboratory and lot of other things. There is also a maternity ward in the hospital which operates 2 times per week. In the new building, they are going to start a maternity ward which operates at all times and a labor/delivery ward. In the hospital there are about 70 to 100 out-patients every day and 20 to 30 patients who are staying longer times in the wards. There is also a canteen in the hospital where you can eat lunch while you are working there.
This hospital offers internships for nursing and medical students but volunteers can also help a lot in the daily routines.
