In addition to program fee you need to pay Residence Permit, possible tourist visa, airline tickets, vaccinations and insurance.
Visa and Residence Permit
- If your internship/ volunteering/ teacher exchange period is less than 2 months you need to pay tourist visa USD 50 (from USA and Ireland USD 100) and Visitor’s Pass USD 200.
- If your internship/ volunteering/ teacher exchange period is more than 2 months you need to pay Residence Permit Class C USD 550. You won’t need a tourist visa.
PRICE BREAKDOWN:
- 64% of voluntary program fee and 74% of internship program fee goes to accommodation, food, water, electricity, transportation to the placements, arrangements with the placements, airport transportation and security.
- 26% of the program fees goes to administration e.g. staff salaries, office expenses
- In addition to that 10% of the volunteer's program fee goes to the voluntary placement
